Job Summary:

As an IT Trainer, you'll be responsible for delivering technical training for the Skills Bootcamp and Apprenticeship progrmmes. This involves training in a mix of classroom and online sessions.


Role Responsibilities:


  • Plan lessons and activities for short programs like Skills Bootcamp quickly, using a Scheme of Work and Lesson Plan.
  • Keep teaching materials uptodate.
  • Report activities to the Quality Department.
  • Collaborate with recruitment and career support teams to assist students in finding jobs.
  • Monitor and support student progress in the Skills Bootcamp program.
  • Develop training plans to help students secure employment.
  • Keep students engaged and motivated in their learning.
  • Adapt training materials for online classes.
  • Hold a teaching certificate like a PGCE or Certificate in Education.
  • Possess certification to teach CompTIA A+.
  • Familiarity with teaching Windows 10/11 and Windows 36
  • Additional certifications such as AZ900, SC900, DP900, MS101, or MD101 are beneficial.
  • Demonstrate commitment to professional development (CPD).
  • Have a successful track record of teaching, both online and inperson.
  • Ability to create tests and assessments for apprenticeship and Skills Bootcamp programs.
  • History of improving teaching quality and standards.
  • Understand and prioritize learner safety.
  • Comfortable with adapting to changes and working efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong focus on teaching, testing, reporting, and facilitating growth in others.
  • Excellent communication skills.

£27,000.00 per year
