About the role
This is a crucial role in the company that is essential to keeping the wheels spinning. You will be the engine of the business which is relied upon in order for everyone else to work.


The main tasks will be:

Inventory Management - ensuring we are never out of stock of our key products

  • Reviewing sales reports against stock levels regularly and placing orders with our suppliers to maximise sales whilst minimising stock levels, reforecasting and adjusting budgets
  • Booking our international shipments and ensuring seamless international deliveries from our international suppliers
  • Liaising with our warehouse to ensure all products are shipping on time and that all activity runs smoothly

Merchandising - making strategic decisions on product mix and sales strategy

  • Forecasting sales and stock to surpass and smash sales and margin targets
  • Meticulously monitoring your categories' performance and identifying new opportunities and risks, then suggesting and taking the relevant actions at speed.
  • Identifying and pulling the correct levers, including promotions, to drive sales and clear excess inventory.
  • Working in synergy with the rest of the team to deliver any site updates (homepage, category pages), both BAU and campaign specific
  • Regularly reviewing competitor actions and trends in the market and suggesting actions to improve choice, sales and margin
  • Continuously improving processes, analysis and best practice and sharing with the team to drive efficiency

Brand Partner Relationships - building great relationships with our suppliers

  • Strong relationships are key to successful operations leading to greater opportunity for improved margins, quicker delivery and exclusivity options
  • Looking for new ways to grow relationships through powerful communications
  • Leading onboarding processes for new brands

Requirements:


This role requires a highly organised mind with a love for efficiency, key attention to detail and the ability to cope with a high intensity workload.


  • Proven experience in an Operations, Supply Chain or any analytical role in a relevant fastpaced, short leadtime business (preferably online and for at least 2 years)
  • Passionate about all things health & wellbeing with an energetic, 'cando' attitude
  • Experience of planning weekly sales, stock and intake management
  • Willing to work hard in pursuit of aggressive targets, and excited by the prospect of joining a closeknit team of highly motivated, smart & hardworking individuals
  • The confidence to manage and own your own categories, communicating to other team members and the senior leadership team
  • An excellent communicator with proven ability to build relationships, internally and externally and at all levels
  • Organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure to cope with a challenging workload and ensure a fluid running of your categories and the wider business
  • Ability to turn complex data into actionable insights and creatively explain complex analysis to nontechnical stakeholders
  • Have a high attention to detail and accuracy
