Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for a General Operator to join our client on an initial 12 month deal working from their major site in Bolton.


Are you a skilled General Operator with a passion for precision and quality? We are thrilled to present an excellent opportunity to work with our esteemed end client as a General Operator.

In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for executing manufacturing and self-certification tasks within a dynamic business environment.

You'll follow product certification procedures, adhere to workmanship standards, and ensure project objectives are met within specified budgets and timelines.


Responsibilities at a Glance:


  • Perform meticulous standard assembly and manufacturing tasks, strictly following established procedures, maintaining quality benchmarks, adhering to safety protocols, and meeting defined timelines.
  • Contribute to the seamless flow of work and information across the manufacturing area, enhancing operational efficiency and collaboration.
  • Uphold agreedupon standards and professional conduct across all activities.
  • Display unwavering commitment to maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
  • Prior IPC 610 certification or training is advantageous and will set you apart.

As a General Operator, you will have the opportunity to work across diverse departments, including:

  • Micro Electronics
  • Looming
  • PEC Assembly
  • Plastics Department
  • Manufacturing Control/Stores

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Your experience in Microelectronics is highly soughtafter and valued.
  • Skill in performing delicate tasks requiring manual dexterity.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret layouts and technical specifications.
  • Strong adherence to instructions and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to accommodate flexible shift patterns to support our operations.
  • Capacity to work independently with mínimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in using computers for effective communication and reporting.
