We are recruiting for a
Full Time or Part Time Teaching Assistant to start in September 2023 in a school in
Chorley.


The
Teaching
Assistant must show the skills of being a great
team player with a
willingness to learn new skills and become committed to the
progression of each pupil.

Students will look to you for help and guidance which is why it is important to show
compassion.

You will need to use your own
initiative and execute the best solution for any problems that students are facing.

Helping them get through the day just that little bit easier.

The school are ideally looking for a Qualified Teaching Assistant Level 2 however they are open to relevant experience working with children through sports coaching, social care or own personal experience.


The required experience for the Teaching Assistant role is:

  • Knowledge and Understanding of SEND
  • Plan and implement learning strategies for individuals and groups.
  • Experience with numerous pupils within a classroom and outdoor activities
  • Passion for improving wellbeing consistently
  • Create an inclusive environment, and remove all barriers to learning
  • Proactive, resilient and simplifying tasks for pupils
  • Be a shining example for the students to look up to
  • Showing students effective learning strategies to solves problems on their own
