Lusona is working with an exciting and highly innovative firm looking to grow their specialist Tax team in Glasgow.

If you are a part-qualified or a newly qualified ATT/CTA/CA/ACCA in practice and looking for something a bit different - this could be the role for you.

Our client is an established and market-leading specialist in R&D Tax compliance, advisory and policy, partnering with an impressive range of large, innovative businesses across Engineering, Technology, Science and more.

As Chartered Tax Advisers, they pride themselves on their strong tax technical knowledge, market reputation, and exceptional client relationships.

As the Scottish practice continues to grow from strength to strength; the team now have a new requirement for a Tax Consultant to join their Glasgow-based team.

Working closely with Senior Management, technical specialists, and tax colleagues, you will work towards managing a small but highly interesting client portfolio, acting as key point of contact and providing technically excellent R&D tax claims and advice.

Previous R&D Tax experience is not necessary, as comprehensive training and mentoring will be provided.

It is essential, however, that you are a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a minimum 2 years+ experience gained in a Top Accountancy firm, or within relevant teams at HMRC.

The business has successfully hired those from Corporate Tax, Private Client Tax, Global Mobility, Accounting and Audit backgrounds to date, with many of their team members having joined from Big 4.

As Tax Consultant, you will build and foster strong client relationships, demonstrating a genuine curiosity around your clients' businesses, ideas and growth plans.

Salary from £34,000 + Benefits + excellent working culture on offer. Flexibility/hybrid working is offered as with 2 days per week worked from home. Study support is also available, where required.

There will be regular opportunities to travel to regional offices to collaborate, train, and socialise with colleagues across the UK.
