Description

H9 Technical are currently looking for a Civil Engineer to be site based on a brand new power generation project in the Central Belt of Scotland.

The position will be a contract position with a minimum duration of 1 year.

This role would be reporting into the Civil Department Manager and Site Manager of the project

Responsibilities

Fully understand the civil design (drawings, reports, specifications, etc ) transmitted to the site.
Manage all design modification at site assuring a good quality civil design engineering ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations and guaranteeing the fulfilment of contractual obligations.
Manage the request of the civil contractor (technical queries, etc ).
Manage the technical dialogue with the customer's engineering structure at site.
Collaborate with other disciplines site engineers for the identification and solving of interferences.
Support the Site Civil Supervisor for any design implication.
Provide technical support during construction.
Support to the Quality manager at site (checking and collecting certifications, test, etc.).
