The Regular Giving Officer will join Birkbeck College's talented and ambitious Development and Alumni Team at a crucial moment in our history as we deliver our 200th anniversary commemorations and conclude our first comprehensive fundraising and engagement campaign, 'The World Needs More Birkbeck'.


The Development and Alumni team works with alumni, corporate partners, friends, and colleagues from across the College to secure vital philanthropic funding for the College and to build impactful alumni engagement opportunities.


Our Regular Giving Programme is at the forefront of the Campaign - by enacting positive change through the building and stewardship of an engaged supporter community resulting in a positive philanthropic impact on Birkbeck for generations to come.


This pivotal role will be responsible for leading our successful Regular Giving Programme which seeks to raise critical funds from our alumni community for a range of college priorities including student support and advancing research.


The Regular Giving Officer will be implementing an annual programme of fundraising and stewardship activity encompassing delivery of biannual telephone campaigns, print and digital fundraising appeals and the promotion and management of a legacy giving programme.


You will also be responsible for managing a pool of leadership giving prospects, developing a pipeline between our regular giving and philanthropy programmes.


This role will work closely with the Deputy Director of Engagement to deliver an exciting future vision for the programme to ensure it continues to support the College as it enters its third century.


Remuneration:

Grade 6 of the College Salary Scale which is £37,143 rising to £42,365 per annum.


The salary quoted is on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.
