(Business Travel Consultant) - Start Date - FEB 2023

Ambitious, well-funded and ethical corporate travel company are looking for an experienced Business Travel Consultant and customer success expert. We are looking for travel creators and curators who want to come and do business travel differently.


This role will be instrumental in this start-up business and there is a huge opportunity to make the role your own.

You will be involved in the delivery of the client proposition, travel operations and also be the driving force behind the outstanding customer experience that we pride ourselves on at COCO+.

Who will you be?

  • Be the face and voice of the 'COCO+ Crew' ensuring all customers are always beyond satisfied
  • Become an expert in the travel operations process and work on ways to ensure the best customer experience
  • Be responsible and adherent to the operational usage of the full technical suite of systems
  • You will use your detailed knowledge of frontend booking platforms to wow our customers at every stage
  • You will have an indepth knowledge of mid/backoffice functions and help to adopt and adhere to them
  • You will have experience of onboarding clients smoothly
  • You will have experience of working with Business Development teams to wow new clients
  • Be obsessed with the customer

What you will bring to the party


You will have a minimum 2 years travel experience within operations ideally in the Business Travel Industry, with an interest or experience in travel technology and sustainability.


In addition, we are looking for:

  • Expertly use the appropriate COCO+ travel tools and systems to complete requests
  • Support, search and confirm travel reservations for the customer
  • Competently provide general travel advice to travellers
  • Responds to requests accurately and completely
  • Provides the customer with the required industry information, such as fares rules exchange costs and penalties
  • Can fulfil all requests regarding necessary regulations (entry requirements, passports, visas, etc.)
  • Some experience on travel systems and airfare knowledge
  • Amadeus preferred
  • Experience using mid/backoffice systems
  • Protas preferred
  • An understanding of current business travel industry trends, policies, and procedures, along with knowledge of international travel regulations, customs and practices.
  • You will have a proved track record of success in customer obsession
  • A flexible approach, with the ability and stamina to manage multiple activities whilst working to deadlines in a fluid situation
  • Excellent communicator, articulate and persuasive
  • Agile mind, open and solutiondriven mindset
  • Highly conversant in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial organisation and be comfortable presenting to clients
The Package

The starting salary is circa £28,000 - £32,000 pa, dependent on experience. This is a real opportunity to make the role your own and grow and develop with the business.

  • This role can be completely remote, we have offices in Bristol, which your are more than welcome to use as often or as little as you like. We also have monthly team get togethers., normally based in Bristol.
  • The role will may involve travel for meetings with clients
  • We will be flexible if you can be too. We are a 24/7 operation and not all business takes place 95 so it will be about give and take. Core hours 104 Monday
