Full Time, 6-month Fixed Term Contract from Jan (42.5 hours per week, some overtime would be expected to meet the demands of the business / compensated)

We love spreadsheets and KPI's however we strive to understand the business further and partner effectively with key stakeholders. This enables everyone to understand the levers that impact the business the most.
The Printworks Operations team is a passionate and dedicated group of hard-working event professionals, who take great pride in delivering world class events and experiences to thousands of guests on a weekly basis.
What we're looking for:
We're looking for a passionate and motivated person to join the Printworks Operations team as a Finance Operations Assistant.
The Finance Operations Assistant will play a pivotal role in the processing of the finances of our music events at Printworks London in our closing SS23 season.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Processing payments and invoices onto the accounting software (Quickbooks)
- Maintaining and reconciling cashbooks
- Maintaining the Purchase Order system (Procurify)
- Liaising with various departments within the business for PO's and approvals
- Pulling together weekly payment runs
- Chasing supplier and customer invoices, developing good relationships with external companies
- Paying supplier invoices and tracking bank account balances
- Assisting the team with administrative duties
- Liaising with the Operations team to ensure invoices from suppliers match up to budgeted amounts, and querying any discrepancies
You'll need to have:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt your messaging for different audiences
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- The ability to be proactive and organised, as you will assist with managing multiple projects that the finance team are working on
- The ability and keen appetite to take ownership of your designated tasks
- A strong attention to detail
Nice to haves:
- Experience working in the music/entertainment industry (not essential)
- Knowledge and passion for the music and entertainment industry
- Willingness to develop their financial understanding of how a business works
