Job Title:
Cleaner

6 hours per week

Monday 2 hours

Wednesday 2 hours

Friday 2 hours

Monday/Wednesday/Friday


Duties:


  • Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces
  • Empty trash bins and replace liners
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated time frames
  • Strong communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 6 per week


Salary:
£10.42 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Peterlee: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- cleaning: 1 year (preferred)


Language:


  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
