English Teaching Assistant - Camden
Are you a recent English Graduate seeking an opportunity to kickstart your career in education?


Tradewind Recruitment is working with a thriving Secondary School in Camden, who are seeking an English Teaching Assistant to join their team.

This is a full time, long term position that will commence immediately and run until the end of the academic yearin the first instance.

The working hours for this position are 08:30 - 16:30 and this position offer £80 per day based on experience.


As an English Teaching Assistant you will be supporting students in the English Department with a strong focus on literacy progression.

You will also be responsibly for creating and delivering individual English's tuition sessions during the school day andafter hours (working hours would be adjusted on these days).

This is an incredible opportunity for an aspiring teacher to gain valuable classroom experience before embarking on a Teacher Training course.

This Secondary School in Camden well serviced by public transport and is easily accessible from most London Boroughs.

  • Hold a recent English Undergraduate degree
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

  • Be passionate about education and be confident creating rapport with Secondary pupils
