The Role

Due to rapid growth and continuous success we are delighted to confirm that we are currently seeking a Gas Engineer to join Fortem branch at Longhurst.

The role involves carrying out planned central heating installations and also gas maintenance servicing /Voids to the properties which fall under this contract.

Ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of Supervision.

Carry out faultdiagnosis and communicating additional works required back to your Supervisor/Line Managers to ensure all follow-on works have been captured, leaving the resident assured.

You will take ownership of work, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs whilst remainingwithin budget and time parameters.

You will also operate within company Health and Safety guidelines and remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of your skill areas.

Typical work will comprise of day to day repairs/maintenance, short durationservice, renewal or refurbishment works to properties and void properties.

Essential and Desirable Criteria

Essential Criteria
GAS Safe Registration
CCN1, CEN1, HTR1, MET1, WAT1, CKR1, CPA1 current gas accreditations
Full UK Driving License

Desirable Qualifications
CSCS HAPS Test Certificate + CSCS Skills card
C&G Craft/Advanced Craft Certificate in Heating Engineering and/or plumbing or NVQ 2/3 certificate.
