Job Title:
Transport Manager

Location:
Belvedere

Salary:
£40k

Hours:
Monday to Friday (6am - 3pm or 9am - 6pm on a rota basis)


Working for a global distribution company with offices in the UK and worldwide you will be responsible for managing the transport office.

You will be responsible for managing a fleet of vehicles including HGV's.

You must have excellent Geographical knowledge along with multi drop distribution and be experienced in FORS Bronze Silver & Gold as well as holding a Transport Manager qualification.


Duties

  • Liaising with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the business
  • Working alongside the drivers dealing with any queries
  • Allocation of work to 20 commercial vehicles
  • Briefing drivers on planned work loads
  • Keeping accurate records
  • Monitoring vehicles and ensuring they are compliant
  • Oversee all administration within the office

Skills

  • CPC Transport Manager qualification is essential
  • Experience in FORS Bronze Silver and Gold is a MUST
  • Used to working to strict KPI's and SLA's
  • Previous experience working as a Transport Manager
