Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Radiology Leadership team. We are looking for an enthusiastic radiographer with significant experience in plain film imaging.

You will work in the clinical environment and be responsible for the day to day management of the plain imaging service provision.

Leadership experience will be essential.

RPS would be desirable. Opportunities for CPD are well supported including management and leadership courses as well as clinical development. All radiographers are expected to contribute to the training of our junior staff and students.

We are a busy GDH, a leading Cancer Centre and a mínimal invasive Cardiac Unit offering both Cardiac MRI and CT.


The department comprises of 3 general rooms, a 2 room A+E department, MRI, ultrasound department, digital fluoroscopy, Interventional suite, maxillo-facial unit, digital mammography including a tomosynthesis unit and a Siemens Somatom CT scanner and x-ray room in our Oncology centre situated within the hospital.

The trust is currently undergoing a number of large development projects including the building of a new Surgical and Oncology unit which will provide 6 new operating theatres at our Guildford Site and a Community Diagnostic Centre at our Milford site which will house 2 brand new MRI scanners and a brand new CT scanner.

The Royal Surrey County Hospital is a progressive and collaborative hospital dedicated to patient care. We are a 570 bedded modern acute hospital situated in the historical city of Guildford.

The Trust provides a comprehensive service, with national referrals to several of its specialities. We form one of the four cancer units which make up the Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire Cancer Network. Guildford offers excellent shopping facilities as well as numerous clubs, bars, restaurants, theatres, cinema and multi-sports complex. The surrounding countryside provides many village inns and outdoor pursuits.
