About the role:


  • As a Category Associate at Reckitt, you will thrive in our fastpaced environment alongside a team of expert scientists dedicated to ensuring product safety and efficacy. The purpose of this role is to coordinate and manage the formulation aspects of projects end to end within the Sore Throat team for internal and 3_rd_ party projects.

Your responsibilities:


  • Coordinating the formulation feasibility stage of product development
  • Supporting scaleup to the pilot plant and factory, using the Technology Transfer process
  • Technical risks on projects are understood and working with formulation lead appropriate mitigation actions agreed and reviewed with the cross functional team.
  • Product Development milestones are delivered to agreed timelines and to suitable standards.
  • The day to day prioritisation and organisation of own workload to ensure that project requirements and stakeholder needs are met.
  • Manage the preparation of technical documentation for regulatory submissions in healthcare categories.
  • Managing relationships and working cross functionally with formulators, HTSG/Pilot Plant Team, Analytical Lead and others to ensure delivery
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, quality and health and safety requirements for all formulation activities

The experience we're looking for:


  • Educated to Degree level in a scientific discipline
  • Experience of delivering development projects (experience within an OTC Healthcare environment an advantage)
  • Knowledge of OTC formulation product development process
  • Experience in a similar fast paced environment
  • Knowledge and awareness of GMP requirements
  • The capability to define, evaluate and communicate risks and the associated mitigation plans
  • Communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to build strong networks across a matrix organisation
  • Comfortable working independently and partnering with cross functional teams within a matrix organisation
