We are seeking to recruit a Re-Matching and Housing Officer, working 37 hours per week.
About the Role

  • This post will assist in identifying hosts who are able to accommodate Ukrainian guests following a host/guest breakdown. Families on the Home for Ukraine Scheme are placed across the Cumberland districts including Allerdale, Copeland and Carlisle. This role will support the work of the team in improving outcomes for and effective integration for service users on all resettlement schemes including Homes For Ukraine, United Kingdom Resettlement Scheme, Afgan Relocation and Assistance Policy and ACRS 13 and HFU. This role will also negotiate and secure housing provision both shot and long term for service users across each scheme.
    Who we are looking for
  • The role will be demanding yet rewarding and will require a flexible person who also has a good understanding of the reasons that lead to refugee status and can be understanding to the cultural needs of our service users. It is also an opportunity to join an exciting and dynamic team and programme which is continually evolving alongside international developments.
    This role requires an enhanced DBS check with a Children's Barred List check. Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Children.
