16255- A Central Oxford University department are seeking an experienced Associate Director to take up the responsibility for Online Strategic Operations and Commercial Planning for their online course department.
Duties
-
Develop and lead a multi-partner infrastructure and relationship strategy for four categories of online course portfolios delivering more than 150 iterations of courses (incorporating live sessions) per annum
:

Lead a matrix team to deliver the infrastructure and relationship strategy, setting and reporting on goals and objectives
:

Use industry best practices and market research to inform the development of infrastructure and relationship strategy
:

Lead seamless course delivery cycles and oversee partner relationships and resource allocations for design, production, and delivery cycles
:

Evaluate performance metrics and implement a continuous improvement strategy to enhance key stakeholder satisfaction (this will include more than 100 academic colleagues and contributors, 50 professional staff colleagues, and oversight of up to 300 external partner colleagues):

Address complex partner production issues and act as a primary commercial planner

Lead annual financial planning, establish reporting mechanisms, end-to-end data reporting, and contribute to broader departmental operational and strategic initiatives

Develop expertise in complex operational activities and partner pedagogical innovation (in partnership with Senior Learning Strategist)

Lead operational onboarding of additional internal and external partners and develop a synchronised operations strategy.
Selection Criteria

Demonstrated experience in operationalising the production of online courses, including course phasing, relationship-building across key stakeholders, and continuous process improvement
:

Track record of successful operations leadership, including standardising processes across multiple partner relationships
:

Commercial expertise with experience in budget management and financial planning to achieve mid-year and annual commercial targets
:

Strong leadership skills to drive achievement of evolving targets within a globally dispersed, multi-partner environment
:

Willingness to travel internationally to visit partner locations
:

Experience in management education or higher education environments
:
-
Successful collaboration with academics and senior stakeholders in external partnerships
:

Professional background in operational excellence within educational environment
:
