L W Cole (Distributors) Ltd, established in 1944, is a 4th generation family owned and managed business, specialising in distribution and installation of white goods. The business has sustained high levels of growth over the past 5 years.

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our finance team, to ensure that cash is collected in a timely manner from customers and allocated correctly.

Key Responsibilities

Routinely checking customer accounts, ensuring they are within their agreed credit limit
Building good rapport with customers
Daily review of delivery notes prior to invoicing
Dispute resolution around unpaid invoices
Accurate allocation of cash against debtor ledgers
Statement reconciliations
Assist with complex account reconciliations
Approve credit notes as required

Minimum Qualifications

Needs to have previous experience in role
Proven track record of substantially reducing debts
Need to be confident using Excel

Job Types:

Salary:
