Description

We have exciting opportunities for 5 Junior Clinical Fellows to join our a Neonatal team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital from4th September 2023.

Our out of training clinical fellows are employed visa the 2002 Doctors agreement.

Who are we?

We are a busy neonatal unit and one of the two lead perinatal centres in the N.W London Perinatal Network and also the designated neonatal surgical referral unit for the sector.

Our critical care project is a state-of-the-art expansion and redevelopment of our adult and neonatal intensive care facilities at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

We have been working with our charity CW+ and a range of partners to design world-class intensive care units with optimal healing environments for patients and their families.

It will allow us to treat more critically babies every year, in world-class facilities which will benefit patients and their families.

This is one of our biggest redevelopments to date and it will significantly increase the future capacity in these areas, allowing for the treatment of more patients every year in state-of-the-art facilities.

We offer comprehensive neonatal training with emphasis on surgical neonates, multidisciplinary gastro-nutrition care and neuro-developmental outcomes of high risk babies.

Our unit has a busy high - risk obstetric service, we deliver and stabilise cardiac babies prior to transfer to the Royal Brompton Hospital and have 24 hour all - level paediatric surgical and Anaesthetics cover for the unit.

We provide services from two main hospitals, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital, and a number of clinics across London and the South-East.

We have over 6,000 members of staff that are PROUD to Care for nearly one million people.

Both hospitals provide full clinical services, including full maternity, emergency and children's, in addition to a range of community-based services across London, such as award-winning sexual health and HIV clinics.

We're one of the best preforming Trusts in the country.

We're also one of the top trusts to work for - our staff say they're engaged, motivated, and would recommend us as a place to work and receive treatment.

Our Trust has been rated by the Care Quality Commission as 'Good' in all five of the main domains of safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led, giving an us overall rating of 'Good'.

We've also been awarded an 'Outstanding' rating for 'use of resources' by an NHS Improvement inspection.

Our facilities are some of the best in the country. We have been investing around £10 million a year in our estate.

We are currently spending £25 million on expanding our adult and neonatal critical care facilities at Chelsea and Westminster and redevelopment of our children's unit at West Middlesex - in partnership with our charity, CW+ and generous donors.
