Description
We are looking for an IT Support Analyst to join a well-established team, working alongside the IT Consultant involved with multiple projects as well as providing IT support for various Aerospace PLM systems,


This is a varied and challenging role, that will provide hands-on training on the customers multiple and varied aircraft platforms.

The role offers a great opportunity to learn new skills within IT and a clear path for career progression.


What you will be doing
:


  • Working closely with the IT Consultant to capture and resolve IT support tickets
  • Receive training on systems and procedures to improve knowledge and resolve more complex queries
  • Consulting activities with customer i.e., process improvement and workflow suggestions
  • Provide support to customers as required
  • Stay up to date with internal systems and process changes
  • Liaising with internal and external customers daily
  • Working to strict deadlines

What you'll bring
:


  • A Computer Science degree or similar academic qualifications in IT.
  • Knowledge of programming, Databases and/or experience in a similar 1st line IT support role.

If would be great if you had
:


  • Knowledge of Linux/UNIX
  • C++
  • Perl/Shell scripting experience
  • Knowledge of Databases and an understanding of computer networks
**Employment Type - Full Time, Permanent

Location - Bristol - Hybrid - 3 days office based
**Salary £28,000 basic plus bonus

Security Clearance Level - eligible for SC clearance
