Retail Marketing Manager - Specialist Multichannel Retailer - East Midlands/Hybrid - Salary up to £45k Basic + Bonus


Zachary Daniels Recruitment are working with a multichannel retailer based in the East Midlands, who are looking to appoint an energetic and highly organised Retail Marketing Manager.

The position of Retail Marketing Manager will see you working at paceto manage a variety of projects across the portfolio of own brand and partner brand products, retail estate and growing ecommerce platform

This is a pivotal role in delivering marketing and business growth projects across the business, reporting into the Head of Marketing


The position of Retail Marketing Manager is responsible for the following:

  • Own all aspects of planning, delivering, and reporting omnichannel retail marketing
  • Support the Head of Marketing and the Head of eCommerce in delivering the marketing, brand, and strategy development and execution
  • Work cross functionally to deliver new product launches across the own brand portfolio digital, print, packaging and brand assets for use across consumer and trade channels
  • Create and implement new customerled initiatives and business development plans across retail, eCommerce and wholesale
  • Work with the Head of Marketing and wider teams (product, retail ops, ecommerce, wholesale) to drive 360 marketing campaigns
  • Work with the wider Marketing teams to formulate and implement robust plans that supports the brand and retail business objectives
  • Conduct reporting and produce actionable analysis and insights for all activities
  • Support in developing and maintaining the annual promotional calendar and weekly / monthly reporting
  • Execute all marketing plans to deadline and own the budgets
  • Develop consistent, onbrand communications: briefing, copywriting, and proofing with inhouse and external creative resource
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to plan and deliver initiatives, customer acquisition and engagement activities
  • Drive POS strategy, efficiencies and implementation across all stores ensuring a streamlined and costeffective process
  • Events and sponsorships, seeking and realising awareness opportunities
  • Support store colleagues and retail ops team in creating an engaging and impactful customer experience that aligns to brand values and supports business growth

Skills and qualities required for the position of Retail Marketing Manager:

  • Strong omnichannel marketing experience
  • Customer obsessed
  • Ability to quickly build and develop effective cross functional relationships
  • Highly organised a natural plate spinner who can manage multiple priorities and work at pace
  • Results orientated, resilient and focused on solving problems
  • String Excel and presentation skills
  • Print and POS experience
  • Campaign management experience with a track record of delivering ROI
