About the role:

Main responsibilities:

Manage, monitor and maintain the Azure infrastructure (liaising with our 3rdparty support

vendor)

Work closely with the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team to provide ongoing support for

the business.

Network monitoring
Help ensure compliance with best practices and security standards
Help to push out framework and other software updates/patches.
Take part in disaster recovery planning and execution.
Monitor Azure estate using NewRelic and / or other relevant tools.
Provide oncall cover to support the business.

Technologies & skills:

Windows Server
IIS
Powershell scripting
Active Directory
Azure Cloud (DevOps, Virtual Machines, Load balancers and other infrastructure)

Previous experience with the following is a bonus:

Using NewRelic (or similar platform) Observability
Azure Devops Pipelines
Microsoft SQL Server
Jenkins
Git
GCP
Git

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computing Science, Information Technology or relevant experience.
3+ Years of experience as a System Administrator within a Windows environment.
Experience of Networking, Active Directory and general support.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Keen to learn new technologies, practices and ways of working.

Reporting
This position reports into the Site Reliability Engineering team
