Client Details

My client is a market leading in the automotive design, development and manufacturing industry - supplying a mixture of Tier 1, Tier 2, SME and OEM suppliers with their after-market products.

The business currently turns over in excess of £550 million peryear and is rapidly expanding into various areas of the automotive market.

They are looking for a Automotive Product Manager - Team Leader to join and lead the team of five product managers

Description

The successfully Automotive Product Manager - Team Leader will report into the Sales & Technical Director on a daily basis and have a remit covering the below responsibilities.

The role will be based at the Derbyshire HQ.

Leading a team of three Automotive Product Manager's and two junior assistants.
Maintenance, expansion and servicing of a large price list for automotive aftermarket products.
Developing accurate pricing strategies against competitor and OEM analysis.
Developing ranges within brand guidelines
Providing regular and updated communication for all customers around new product releases and technical strategy.
Technical support and providing first level customer and sales assistance around products.
Working with the commercial team to provide detailed product offering to Tier 1, Tier 2 and OEM markets.

Profile

Commutable to Derbyshire 1 or 2 days per week.
A background in automotive aftermarket products.
A strong background in dealing with both internal and external customers & stakeholders.
Experience in identification of motor components.
A skilled negotiator, with commercial acumen.
Skilled in leading teams of Product Managers

Job Offer
