Job Profile


Sort Group's headquarters are based in Derby and we have branches based in Cardiff and a small subsidiary branch in South Shields.

We embrace the latest technologies to speed up client communication and case management to deliver the best possible customer service.


This position is for an experienced Switchboard / Receptionist with strong verbal and written communication skills to handle incoming calls into the Conveyancing department and welcoming visitors and contractors to our Head office.


This is a newly created position due to the increasing volume in telephone calls and as such, we are looking for someone who has previously worked in a busy office environment and who can self-manage, with the ability to implement an effective and welcoming first point of contact experience for our clients.


To be successful, you should possess professionalism, have an ability to communicate effectively and have a positive and outgoing personality.

You should possess good multitasking skills to be able to handle a very busy switchboard with general administrative duties and be able to represent Sort Group in a professional manner.

ole Overview

  • Telephone answering and message taking ensuring that all incoming calls are picked up promptly and provide excellent Customer service.
  • Welcoming all visitors and contractors to the office, ensuring that they have been correctly signed in on the electronic system and directing them to their destination.
  • Meeting room diary management, ensuring that meeting rooms are booked out correctly and are turned around after each meeting ready for the next ones keeping the tea and coffee stations clean and stocked up.
  • Assist the Conveyancing team with adhoc administrative duties, such as post distributing and assisting with the allocation of incoming faxes.

Position Requirements

  • At least 2 year's experience preferably working within a similar role
  • Able to work with mínimal supervision
  • Must have excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
  • Must be able to prioritise work, be able to selfmanage and have good attention to detail and work well under pressure.
  • Must be assertive, calm, friendly and a good team player.
  • Must have good IT Skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of property conveyancing, cyber
- crime and data Protection.


Package

Salary:
£22,010.56 per annum based on 37 hours per week.

20 days annual leave with long service accrual + birthday holiday + bank holidays

Company Pension and Death in service

BUPA Cashplan on completion of probation.
