Senior QA Engineer
A growing sports technology company are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join them initially for a one year fixed term maternity contract, but with the potential to remain with the business as the continue to grow.
As a company they work with many of the leading names in sports around the world and through the use of technology, enable people to become more active, and participate in a variety of sports.
Their UK office is based in Vauxhall, London, and you can attendthe office as much as you'd like, however this role can be completely remote if you'd prefer.
As a Senior QA Engineer you'd be working in a team of eight, responsible managing one QA Engineer and also;- Developing effective test strategies and plans within the projects
- Designing, writing and maintaining manual and automation test scenarios
- Mentoring and supporting other QA Engineers in addition to direct management of a junior QA Engineer.
- Identify and report to project teams on performance issues and inconsistencies
- Own and deliver projects analyse business requirements, design documents, determine risks and critical test conditions.
- Has experience in Functional API testing
- Has prior management experience and is happy to manage one team member in this role
- Understanding of risk based testing approach
- Experience working in a Scrum environment
- Any experience with TestRail, AWS, Azure
You'll be working in a talented, growing team and will have the opportunity to experience a hand-over with the current Senior QA, prior to their leave, so you'll have a detailed induction and training programme.
This role can be purely remote, is 35 hours a week (Monday - Friday) and they're happy to discuss flexibility in working hours too.
