An opportunity has arisen for a Ward Administrator to join our team in the Eye short stay within the Eye unit at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS).


Eye short stay unit is part of the regional referral centre for Ophthalmology and due to its fast paced environment that relies on team working and excellent interpersonal skills.

You will join a team of highly skilled and experienced nurses where the work is varied and immensely satisfying, caring for patients who have various levels and causes of visual impairment.

The Eye short stay unit offers services for inpatients and day surgeries. The unit is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

The proposed working days for this post will be Monday - Friday (3:30pm - 7:30pm) and Saturday (8am-4pm)
