An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, resilient and enthusiastic individual to join our service at HMP Wymott within the integrated mental health and substance misuse team.

HMP Wymott is a male category C establishment, based in Leyland.

Men in our care can present with a variety of mental health difficulties, ranging from low level anxiety and depression, to those with sever and enduring mental illness.


  • Working in close proximity with mental health service users and other agencies when required.
  • Working flexibly and responsively to provide support and assistance to meet the assessed mental health needs of the service and service users.
  • Working collaboratively across a range of disciplines to continuously develop expertise in assisting team members to achieve positive health care outcomes for service users.
  • Promoting the health, well being and mental health of service users.
  • Promoting the development of the role to support and promote skill mix and workforce modernisation within their service areas.
