Experienced Care and Support Worker required to support hospital discharge across Liverpool and Merseyside


Requirements:


As a Care Assistant/Support Worker, you will work under the supervision of established members of the client team and assist with all aspects of personal care, promoting independence through:

• Assist service users in every aspects of their care needs (e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual). Provide attention when needed whilst ensuring service users retain their comfort and dignity.
• Observe care planning needs for service users and complete written daily records as instructed in line with the Company's policies and procedures
• Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting service users when required. Tasks include support with personal care, washing, toileting, dressing, and all other aspects of daily living.
• Ensure that the full privacy and dignity is maintained for the dying and the bereaved, in line with the Company's policies and procedures.
• Notify the relevant senior team of any concern or developing risk to health of service users while you are working with them either in 121 situation or within the team
• Assist service users who need help during meal times (be aware of swallowing difficulties, dietary requirements etc.) Assist with serving of food/drinks as requested/required. Wash up as requested/required.

Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract, Freelance, Zero hours contract

Part-time hours: 0-40 per week


Salary:
£11.50-£13.50 per hour
