Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to my mum in her home environment. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for her with daily activities and medical needs. Prior experience in senior care, dementia care, or Alzheimer's care is highly desirable. Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Administer medication accurately following prescribed care plans and medical terminology
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and preferences
• Support clients with light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
• Manage behaviour effectively, especially as client has dementia
• Document care activities accurately and communicate any changes or concerns,
• Follow health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary

Qualifications

• Previous experience in nursing home, care home, or home care environments preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
• Certification in first aid is advantageous
• Experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, or hospice care is highly desirable
• Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when required for mobility assistance or equipment use
• Strong organisational skills for managing care plans and behaviour management strategies
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine commitment to patient-centred care

Pay: £24.42-£146.52 per week

Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week
