Description

We are looking for a
Senior Estimator to join the commercial team of an established and successful construction company with works in railway civil engineering.


Responsibilities as Senior Estimator:


  • You will provide advice on new tenders and raise documents appropriate for industry standards, information such as rate schedules and info on bill of quantities.
  • Report to the Commercial Director and provide information as required
  • You will review contract performance and budgets and attend site visits.
  • You will also prepare valuations for any additional works.
  • In addition, you will produce documents for tendering and work to HSQE standards as required in the rail environment.

Requirements:


  • Civil engineering and/or rail experience is essential (at least 510 year's experience)
  • Pricing experience
  • Experience with NEC, JCT, ECC and NWR contracts
  • MS Office including Excel
  • HNC/HND/Degree in Engineering (preferred)
