Piping Installation Engineer
CDS Recruitment and Training Ltd have an new opportunity to join a company that specializes in Industrial Fire Prevention.


Salary circa £30,000 with company vehicle and company fully expensed credit card for living expenses while away, plus overtime and company bonus.


The role will be working from the head office in Newcastle and traveling as a
Field Service Engineer to client sites across the country.

There will be requirements to stay away from home - 3 nights a week depending upon location of the client and installation project.

We are looking for a highly competent and ideally time served piping installation engineer. The
pipework that is used on the installation roles in
Threaded or Mapress up to 3inch.


The requirements are to ensure the installation of the fire prevention and measuring technology systems are completed to the highest standard for the customers.

It is important that the
Pipe Installation Engineer has a strong ability to communicate with customers and other team members.

Records will need to be kept regarding the installation projects A high quality of workmanship is important.
Perfoming of installations including various pipework, tray cable, cable, supports, fittings and other materials.
It would be highly advantageous to have electrical experience.
Work well with in a team and individually.


Experience and Knowledge required.
Pipe work and pumps, mechanical and Electrical.
Work at Heights.
Full clean driving licence.
Able to work away from home as and when required.
Able to work with 3 phase Electrical Systems.
Able to read engineering drawings.
Comfortable with Clients
Competent with 365 and reports or documentation.
Strong planning abilities
Confident to manage targets and solve problems.
