Responsibilities:


Surface Preparation:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and smoothing to ensure proper adhesion of paint or wallpaper.
• Fill cracks and holes with appropriate materials, such as plaster or putty, to create a smooth, even base.

Painting and Decorating:

• Use brushes, rollers, or spray guns to achieve a highquality finish.
• Execute decorative techniques such as marbling, graining, and stenciling as required.

Color Matching:

• Mix and match paints to achieve the desired color and texture, ensuring consistency throughout the project.

Quality Control:

• Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
• Make any necessary touchups or corrections to achieve a flawless final result.

Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
• Properly handle and dispose of paint and other hazardous materials.

Collaboration:

• Coordinate with other construction professionals, including carpenters, plasterers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements:


Experience:

• Proven experience as a Painter/Decorator in the construction industry.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver highquality finishes within specified timelines.

Skills:

• Proficient in various painting techniques and finishes.
• Strong color sense and ability to match and blend paints.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Qualifications:

• Relevant qualifications or certifications in painting and decorating.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to painting and construction.

Communication:

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders.

Physical Fitness:

• Ability to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and working at heights.
