My client is a UK award winning legal 500 law firm who are currently looking for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to lead a first-class team in their Liverpool Office.

The purpose of this role is to manage client matters, provide a high level of client care, whilst maintaining adherence to business directives and contributing their expertise in client management, whilst also leading a team of their own.

They are looking for those who 2+ years of experience managing and supervising junior members of a team, providing guidance and support where required, along with contributing a high level of experience, a vast knowledge of various medical conditions and identifyingerrors within medical procedures whilst looking to ascertain the best results for our clients.


Responsibilities to include:


  • Oversees efficient file management of complex cases including adherence to timescales, compliance with precedents, letters, or documents on the case management system with appropriate supervision.
  • Provides effective support, guidance, proof reading and delegation to colleagues.
  • Contributes to, supports, and executes business development plan using knowledge of the full range of the practice groups and the Company services to deliver new clients.
  • Determines strategies and plans for client meetings and complex negotiations and leads noncomplex negotiations with mínimal guidance.
  • Takes responsibility for own file load and be responsible for file load of a team of fee earners.
  • Ensure financial aspects of matters including time recording, billing and debtor management are managed to enable achievement of personal fee budgets.
  • Anticipates potential future scenarios and uses lateral thinking to address them.
  • Develops the capabilities and careers of more junior team members and role models their professional approach to more junior colleagues, actively supporting them to do so.
  • Is aware of the risk profile to area of business and works to minimise exposure, including by supervision of staff.
