SENIOR ESTIMATOR
Our market leading client operates within the construction industry and are widely recognised for service excellence and quality.

As a result of expansion of the group, an opportunity has arisen for a Q.S / Estimator to join their team near Wakefield.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

Devising and maintaining office systems to meet the requirements of your role.
Downloading Utilise CAD/PDF and scale off drawings for preparation of quotes.
Using company management systems to maintain and update internal programmes and databases including share point, Excel databases, Microsoft Projects.
Downloading Utilise CAD/PDF and scale off drawings for preparation of quotes.
Providing clerical and administrative support to others within the company when required.
Produce competitive quotes sourcing cost effective suppliers and good quality products and Sub-Contractors.
Producing correspondence and documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases.
Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies to ensure their proposals will work.
Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks.
Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.
Complete tender documents for submission.
Prepare and issue subcontract/Suppliers enquiries and assessment of quotations upon receipt.
Assess tender documents to ensure sufficient information available to prepare tender and review/comment contract particulars.
Maintain contract documentation and advise on pretender and post contract matters.
