An expanding international bank are looking to recruit a Compliance Monitoring Officer to join their broader Compliance function. The role will work closely with Senior Management both in the team and wider business.

Main Responsibilities

Plan and conduct independent Compliance Monitoring reviews as assigned from the annual plan, in line with the Compliance Monitoring Methodology. This include the ability to lead and/or participate as part of a team in the delivery of riskbased reviews.
Work collaboratively with the business stakeholders at all stages of the review, agreeing issues and the appropriate remedial actions in a timely manner.
Produce a draft report for each review engagement, clearly articulating the issue, root cause and the agreed management actions with realistic timescales agreed with stakeholders for implementation.
Effective documentation of review work performed at every stage of the review in a manner which enables effective reperformance by interested parties.

Job Requirements:

At least 4 years working within a similar Compliance Monitoring role.
Strong knowledge and understanding of UK regulations affecting the Wholesale, Commercial and Retail Banking businesses.
Degree educated, ideally with a relevant professional qualification e.g. ACCA or IIA
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
