Responsibilities:


  • Administer, configure, and maintain the SCCM environment, ensuring it is up to date
  • Develop and maintain SCCM policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Import, distribute, deploy, and monitor software to the estate, including patch management.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for SCCMrelated issues and incidents
  • Assist in the design and implementation of complex SCCM solutions to meet the needs of the organisation
  • Manage and maintain software, and operating system images, deployment packages, and task sequences
  • Provide guidance and support to other IT team members on SCCMrelated issues and best practices
  • Keep up to date with new SCCM features and functionality, and assess their potential value to the organization
  • Troubleshoot software deployments for MSI and App-V
  • Participate in, or take ownership of larger scale projects, and have great communications to liaise with key stakeholders, including the customer.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Experience as an SCCM SME in a large enterprise environment
  • Strong understanding of SCCM architecture, components, and features
  • Experience with SCCM design and implementation, including software and operating system deployments, reporting, and compliance management
  • Experience with SCCM troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of other Microsoft technologies, such as Active Directory, PowerShell, and SQL Server and scripting.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment, or individually.
  • Microsoft certifications in relevant technical areas.
  • Experience of working within project life cycle frameworks

Desirable, but not required:

  • Significant professional experience (+5yrs) or degree in computer science or related area of study with +3yrs experience.
  • ITIL Accreditation preferred but not essential.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Intune for device management and deployments.
  • Previous experience of working in a secure environment would be advantageous.
  • Ability to assess, streamline and automate existing processes.
