The Opportunity


Nigel Wright are pleased to share an opportunity to work with our client, based on the outskirts of Newcastle upon Tyne as a Sales Administrator.

This is a full-time Permanent position, working 8am - 4.30pm (3.30pm finish on a Friday).

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to, prepare and submit quotations in line with customer deadlines
  • Building in depth knowledge of customers individual needs and objectives tracked via CRM
  • Provide regular statistical reports for the Senior Management Team and Sales Team
  • Maintain data analysis
  • Producing Word documents and populating spreadsheets through Excel
  • Preparing quotations to provide to customers
  • Answering incoming telephone calls
  • Dealing with customer enquiries (internal and external) communicating relevant information to the Heads of Department and Sales Team on a daily basis
  • Review incoming purchase orders against quotations
  • Liaise with the department to check on status of order and regularly update customers
  • Organise business travel and accommodation
  • Assist the Sales team with the preparation and completion of tenders and PQQ's
  • Support the Sales team by attending exhibitions on occasion
  • Identifying opportunities for new and existing business; informing the Sales team of potential new business
  • To maintain and promote the vision, values, and mission of the company showing at all times a commitment to continuous improvement
