Grafton Recruitment are now seeking to appoint a Workforce Information Analyst to our public-sector client based in Harrow, London, responsible for enabling Managers to deliver services in a cost-effective way.

The Workforce Information Analyst will analyseworkforce and pay-related data from multiple sources to provide a range of reports for clients such as Project Management Boards, and Managers.

A key aspect is to transform raw data into valuable information by analysis, and the development of management reportsto meet user needs.


Duties of the Workforce Information Analyst

  • To take responsibility for collection, provision and analysis of workforce and HR data to support business objectives.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of current information management processes and recommend and develop more effective systems.
  • Assess data quality and identify sources of possible error ensuring a robust data quality process through continuous audits.
  • To interpret analysed data and present written explanations of trends.
  • Improve and maintain the data quality on by overseeing a suite of data quality reports to identify issues at different stages of the employee lifecycle.
  • Work with colleagues to assist the implementation of a local data quality improvement programme ensuring that data available is accurate, complete and fit for purpose.
  • To analyse data and provide regular, workforce/staffing reports, for Managers, to agreed schedules that meet user requirements. This includes operation of systems to ensure the organisation meets statutory or policy requirements and escalating risks orissues that arise.
  • Coordinate and support on a variety of small and large projects, as directed by the Senior Workforce Information Analyst and Senior Human Resources Business Partner, to work towards the enhancement of HR Information Systems

Role Criteria

  • Educated to Masters level in a relevant numerate discipline e.g. maths, statistics, economics, clinical training or have developed knowledge and skills to an equivalent standard.
  • Significant workforce information analysis experience.
  • Significant experience of workforce planning and implementing best practice methodology.
  • Worked within a healthcare environment.
  • Experience of surveys and collating and analysing statistical information.
  • Experience of working with HR systems.
  • Experience of using analysis systems for example, PowerPivot, Qlikview, Tableau, SPC, or Power BI.
  • Experience of working with customers to meet current and future needs.
  • Analysing and interpreting reports.
  • Advance knowledge of using and running reports.
  • Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality policies, Data Protection Act, GDPR and Freedom of Information Act.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise varied and unpredictable workloads.
  • Ability to train staff on one to one basis.
