Reed Business Support are assisting their clients search for
Claims Handlers to join the team based in Eastleigh.

The role is hybrid, with your week being split 60% (3 days) working remotely/from home and 40% (2 days) in the office in Eastleigh.

They are happy to look at full time or part time, with a minimum of 28 hours per week. The role is permanent and full training is provided.

As a Claims Handler you will be responsible for dealing with new and existing insurance claims. You will make sure these claims are handled accurately and efficiently by gathering all relevant information and evidence.

As a Claims Handler you will be exploringthe validity of a claim using sound judgement to make good decisions on a wide range of claims.

Skills required;

  • Previous experience within a Customer Service* role is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • High level of professionalism
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, written and verbal
  • Able to take a proactive approach and able to prioritise workload
  • Computer literate with the ability to learn and use new systems
** _Previous roles/industries may include but not limited to: Customer Services, Insurance/Claims, Hospitality, Retail, Customer Care, Contact Centre, Banking etc_
