The Team
Invigilators work within the MIS & Exams Team and they support Northampton College's culture of high standards. Whilst
adhering to strict funding body and examination regulations, the Team is responsible for accurate, reliable and timely student
data, and aims to enhance the student journey which includes the provision of a calm, safe examination experience.


The Role
Invigilators are responsible for the conduct of paper and online examinations. Exams are held at each Northampton College
campus and can take place during the day or evening.

Duties include setting up the examination room, distributing and collecting scripts, supervising students during exams, all whilst
working within official guidelines and regulations.

Full training will be given.

  • A good general education with moderate IT skills
  • An ability to work well with people of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Effective communication skills
  • A conscientious and methodical approach with good attention to detail
  • A friendly but authoritative manner
  • Able and willing to travel to other College campuses.
  • Punctual and flexible with working hours
