QHSE Co-ordinator

Responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing Company Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Management System.

The QHSE Co-ordinator will be fully responsible for implementing safe systems of work and safe behavioural practices at all levels of the organisation.

Monitoring operations to ensure that they meet production standards. Recommending adjustments to the assembly or production process. Inspecting, testing, or measuring materials or products being produced.


General

  • Coordinates Health, Safety, Quality and Environment activities
  • Ensure that all aspects of Health & Safety are adhered to and there is safe working practices displayed at all times
  • Coordinate and be responsible for Quality Control activities
  • Working with colleagues at all times in such a way as to deliver the best possible results for Alba
  • Behave at all times in line with Alba Gaskets values

Function Specific

  • Leads ISO45001:2018 efforts
  • Ensure Alba Gaskets are compliant with statutory requirements, Company and contractual requirements and good industry practice.
  • Establish, implement, maintain and continually improve a quality management system, Health and Safety Management System and Environmental management System including the processes needed and their interactions, in accordance with of the requirements the relevant standards
  • Responsible for management of and liaison with QHSE auditors to acquire/maintain Company's accreditations
  • Carry out Internal Audits of HSE and Quality Management Systems
  • Coordinate safety walks and tool box talks
  • Responsible for reporting/investigating incidents
  • Check the quality of incoming materials or products for the company
  • Conduct Product Tests and Assessment
  • Identify Product Defects
  • Record and Report Issues
  • Support Process Improvements

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 30-38 per week


Salary:
£27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
