Description
We have an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join the team at TCL in Egremont. Working in Road Surfacing, Civil Engineering and Utilities Sectors for a variety of clients throughout Cumbria and the UK.

Ensuring the smooth running of the business, duties will include but are not limited to:


  • Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into Sage accounting software
  • Paying supplier invoices and tracking customer receipts and bank account balances
  • Completing VAT, PAYE & CIS returns
  • Verifying the accuracy of business accounts
  • Reconciling various spreadsheets on weekly and monthly basis
  • Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
  • Preparing employee timesheets on JNC and processing Sage payroll
  • Managing employee expense claims
  • Helping the Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
Must have experience in excel, sage 50 accounting software and JNC (desirable)


Job Types:

hours: 30/40 per week
