About the Role:
- We are looking for skilled officer who are competent, enthusiastic and highly motivated to fill the below posts within our Environmental Protection Team
- You must have a working knowledge and understanding of the nuisance provisions of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, knowledge of Licensing legislation and have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Our team follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely or from the office, as needed, based on demands of the service and specific tasks.

This post is considered by the authority to be a customer-facing position; as such it falls within scope of the Code of Practice on English language requirement for public sector workers.
The council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
