What you'll be doing:


  • Leading, inspiring and motivating your team to provide an expert, professional Marketing service to Plumlife and our range of brands and operations as well as to external clients
  • Developing and implementing effective and creative marketing campaigns for all new Shared Ownership, market sales, rent to buy and PRS newbuild developments driving strong lead generation to underpin sales and lettings performance
  • Leading Brand strategy to deliver reputational growth and increased reach across core audiences (B2B and B2C)
  • Developing our digital marketing strategy including social media strategy; ongoing development of our website; supporting design of our new sales CRM ensuring it is optimised for campaign monitoring and customer base profiling; overseeing review sites ensuring excellent customer experience stories are shared across appropriate digital channels
  • Supporting new business bids, researching markets and preparing tailored client advice as well fully costed marketing strategies, to optimise feeearning potential across various Plumlife business streams
  • Ensuring all of our digital and offline marketing activities are on brand and adhere with tone of voice guidelines
  • Staying ahead of marketing and digital marketing best practices and providing insight to the wider team on market trends and competitor activities, to inform and enrich our approach, strategy and decision making
  • Building relationships and trust with key internal clients and stakeholders
  • Working closely with the Head of Sales, our Communications teams and via external networks to identify brand and profileraising marketing and promotional opportunities
  • Driving value for money across all Marketing activity, through effective procurement and ongoing ROI campaign analysis ensuring expenditure is directed to the most cost effective channels for each audience and location and working closely with our internal Procurement team to ensure any regulations, guidance and best practice is adhered to.
  • Preparing annual and schemespecific marketing budgets, working closely with Sales Managers to finalise these, and monitoring and reporting on marketing expenditure against budget
  • Ensuring the team's sales activities and published content are fully compliant with legislative, contractual and funding requirements such as such as the Capital Funding Guide, Help to Buy contract conditions, Consumer Code/New Homes Quality Code, GDPR and Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 200
  • Leading and supporting the team through change and transformation
  • Supporting delivery of wider corporate objectives

What you'll need:


  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification
  • 2+ years in a Marketing Manager post, gained within New Homes Sales for example by working for a Registered Provider or a Housebuilder
  • Relevant professional memberships are desirable
  • Considerable, demonstrated experience of working in a similar Marketing Manager role gained within the Property/Homebuilding sector
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including managing and motivating a team through change
  • Proven track record in creating and delivering effective, successful Marketing and Brand growth strategies and campaigns
  • Excellent IT skills, including Office, Adobe and Wordpress
  • Strong understanding and demonstrated experience of managing digital marketing, including website management, CRM and social media
  • Commitment to providing high levels of customer/client satisfaction
  • Excellent colleague management and team building skills
  • Highly developed attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, and can evidence experience and commitment to building and managing relationships with internal and external customers, colleagues, stakeholders and external partners and suppliers
  • Ability to think creatively and horizonscan/respond to new market trends to help evolve our marketing and digital marketing approach and strategies
  • Good project management skills
  • Ability to develop Plumlife/Great Places' profile with a variety of partners and generate new business, and effectively promote new opportunities
  • Ability to liaise with other departments to ensure delivery of wider corporate goals
  • The ability to develop and project a positive image of Plumlife/Great Places through personal, written and oral skills
  • Ability to produce accurate and concise reports
