A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an internal sales assistant to join a fast paced and dynamic Aberdeen based client on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Division director, the primary focus of this role would be to form a key exponent of the Sales team and maintain and develop strong relationships with customers, both existing and potential, and provide customers with projected quote values for any orders.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales support to Senior Sales Staff
  • Using the customer enquiry information to effectively prepare a quote for the specified order
  • Sending the quote, as per customer requirements
  • Processing sales and purchase orders
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers
  • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • In house training will be given on all internal systems
  • Computer literate
  • Experience in a similar role essential within Marine, Service company and oil related sales
  • Able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
