Established in 2016, Prism Measured Surveys was born from a desire to provide high level measured building surveys and topographic surveys.
Since then, we have expanded to offer further services including drone work, laser scanning, modelling, monitoring and now utility surveys.

Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and keen Land & Measured Building Surveyor to join a great company based in Newton Abbot, to support recent growth within our company.
This is a permanent position where you will join a progressive and forward-thinking company and work alongside friendly, experienced surveyors.
Typical Responsibilities
- Undertaking land/topographic/measured building surveys, using a variety of specialist equipment and technology, such as total stations and 3D laser scanners
- Analysing data using plans, mapping and software such as AutoCAD/ Vectorworks and GIS (geographic information systems) programs
- Drafting survey notes and detailed drawings.
- Presenting data to clients
- Ensure compliance of established procedures and guidelines in survey activities.
Skills
- First hand understanding and practice using CAD programs and surveying technology
- Being able to work consistently with high accuracy levels using predefined methods
- Being able to effectively manage time & prioritise tasks accordingly
- Having strong written and spoken communication
- Developing problem solving skills & actively put into action solutions
- Working as part of a team and working within an office along with sitebased environments
- Developing safe methods of working on live projects
- Attention to detail
Essential Criteria
- Full clean UK driving license
- A flexible approach as some work away and out of hours work will be required
Desirable Criteria
- Experienced in the use of Total Station/GPS Survey instrumentation
- Experienced in the use of LSS Survey processing software
- Experienced in the use of AutoCAD/Vectorworks software
- Drone experience

£25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
