International Brand Excellence Lead - Allergan Aesthetics

  • Reporting to the Brand Excellence & Sales Force Enablement Lead
  • Ideally based in Marlow, United Kingdom with 3/2 flexible working and up to 25% International travel but other locations will be considered.

Overview:


The Brand Excellence Team is responsible for helping to build and maintain Internal capabilities by delivering continuous improvement in the ways of working, processes, tools and capabilities of our Marketing and cross-functional Brand Teams.

This scope includes Integrated Planning (Strategic, Tactical and Operational Planning), Launch Excellence, Marketing Capabilities and other Brand Excellence initiatives.

This covers both the International Brand teams and also the Brand Teams in the Countries across the International region (Global excluding the US).


The job holder will need to work closely across the matrix, building strong relationships with Commercial Business Leaders and stakeholders in other relevant functions (including Marketing, Consumer, Allergan Medical Institute, Market Research, Business Excellence, Digital & Omni-Channel, Business Technology Solutions, Finance, Compliance, Legal, Promotional & Advertising Review & HR).


The purpose of this role is to serve as a change agent, building Future Brand Excellence capabilities across the organisation by addressing identified performance gaps, supporting capability development and drive the implementation of key initiatives.

Highlighted areas of Responsibilities:
Launch Excellence:


  • Develop and execute launch framework, tools, and strategies for successful product launches on an international scale, ensuring crossfunctional alignment.
  • Develop and rollout Launch Excellence Tool across international markets.
  • Cocreate and align on Launch Excellence Governance Model, defining the roles and responsibilities at international and affiliate levels.

Marketing Capabilities:


  • Assess and enhance the marketing capabilities of the international team, identifying areas for skill development and training.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure the international marketing team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Integrated Planning Process:


  • Lead the Integrated Planning (Strategic, Tactical and Operational) process for international markets.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional international teams to ensure effective implementation of plans across diverse regions and channels.
  • Regularly assess and refine the planning process to adapt to the dynamic global pharmaceutical aesthetics market.
  • Take on responsibility for ad hoc delivery of Brand Excellence Projects as required:
  • Drive and manage Brand Excellence Projects across international markets, collaborating with teams to ensure successful implementation.

Skills and Experience:


  • Experience of working in a Pharmaceutical, Healthcare or Aesthetics Marketing Leadership role as a member of a crossfunctional brand team, including the development & implementation of brand plans.
  • Proven experience in affiliate and international brand management within the pharmaceutical or aesthetics industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of the functional contributions & connectivity required from sales, marketing, AMI, BEx, consumer marketing, medical and other global functions.
  • Proven track record of change management and transformation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across cultures.
  • Strong interpersonal & leadership skills with a track record of crossfunctional collaboration and cocreation.
  • A high level of personal gravitas and the ability to present, facilitate and deliver learning and lead coaching conversations.
  • The ability to build a 'Business Partner' relationship with internal stakeholders, providing constructive challenge to help raise the bar.
