A secondary school in Wellingborough are looking to appoint a Geography Teacher in the new year. Should the successful Geography Teacher have a positive probation period, a permanent contract will be available following this.


The successful Geography Teacher will join a warm and welcoming secondary school, and will be supported by a skillful and resourceful Humanities department who work collaboratively to provide the best educational opportunities for students.

The Headteacherencourages a learning environment where students feel safe, cared for and confident to express themselves, and it is pivotal to follow this.

Roles and responsibilities of the successful Geography Teacher

  • Teacher of Geography across KS3 and KS
  • Previous Geography teaching experience up to GCSE essential
  • Good behaviour and classroom management
  • Commitment to a parttime, longterm post
  • Previous examples of academic excellence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
