Description
Walker Cole International is currently searching for a Production Manager to join a pharmaceutical CDMO that manufactures a broad range of clinical-stage investigational medicinal products in the South of Wales.
Your primary responsibility as ProductionManager would be to manage the production of pharmaceutical drug products, labelling, and clinical supply packaging.
As a Production Manager you will be responsible for:- You will lead production activities for pharmaceutical manufacturing of drug product and secondary manufacturing of clinical supplies.
- Identifying, supporting, coaching, motivating, and helping to develop the skills of team members ensuring compliance with training for both new and current staff and therefore establishing a strong team and work culture.
- As the Production Manager, you will provide training and development opportunities for your team, ensuring a high standard of quality, and supporting delivery of the team's KPIs.
- Oversee the production planning activities ensuring release and despatching of clinical supplies to meet client demands.
- Experience leading or managing a team within the pharmaceutical industry
- A degree or HND qualified in life sciences or a related field (preferred)
- Manufacturing experience working in accordance with GMP
- Strong people management and interpersonal skills
