We have a new job opportunity for a
Production Operative at our state-of-the-art food manufacturing factory, based in
Haverfordwest. This role is permanent and will include weekend working.

Details of the role

You will be responsible for:

Grading, washing and packing fresh leeks;
Operating plant and equipment designed to, wash and pack fresh produce;
Operating a pallet truck to ensure the efficient and effective movement of produce to meet operational needs;
Ensuring that products are packed, labelled and stored correctly;
Escalating problems with plant, machinery or product quality to a line leader, in a timely and proactive manner;
Keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe.

Hours
Full time (40 hrs per week)

Opportunity to work overtime

Permanent contract

You will work a variable shift pattern including weekends and bank holidays

You do not need previous experience in this kind of work as we will provide you with all the training you need.

What's more important to us is that you have the skills and attitudes to do the job well and that you have pride in doing a good job.

You should:

Be a strong teamplayer
Have strong communication skills, verbal and written
Be able to follow instructions
Have good initiative
Be willing to be flexible to cover shifts across every day of the week
Be physically fit as the role involves lifting heavy loads up to 25kg and standing for long periods of time.
Be able to get to and from work for 7am and late in the evening
